My name is Blackjack!

His foster mom wants you to know this about him…Blackjack- such a sweet boy. Loves having guests over (fur and ppl). Loves to cuddle and take naps with you. He gets the zooms around 8pm but by 10 he is ready for bed. Still learning some manners but is a fast learner. He’s adorable and all he wants is to be loved. He has a beautiful deep bark that would make anyone with bad intentions to think twice. What they don’t know is that he’ll probably welcome you in the house. Lol. He would make the perfect companion for an older couple or family. He’s still too mouthy for young children but working on it. He is house & crate trained. 

Looking for a chill-lax lab mix?  Blackjack just might be your guy.  Since his arrival at the rescue, he has been a staff favorite.  He loves people and was even giving hugs at our recent adoption day.  In his foster home, he gets along great with the resident dog.  He likes to play some and also likes to loaf around enjoying the sun and a cool breeze.  Blackjack would do great with a family or an individual.  He may need a refresher on house training but is crate trained and  with love and patience will adapt to his new home. You can’t have a bad day with Blackjack around.

Blackjack is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and completed his heartworm treatment in the spring of 2024.  He is now ready for his forever home!
