My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pixie (Willow) is an 11-year-old poodle who is an ideal, affectionate little pup under 10 lbs. She enjoys spending time with her human family, relaxing on her dog bed, gazing out the window, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She would be a great match for an older couple seeking a travel companion or a furry friend to keep them company. A fenced-in yard is a must, as Pixie might go on an unsupervised escapade if she finds the chance.

Age: 11 years

Breed: Poodle

Weight:    12 lbs

Kid-friendly: Not routinely around children, recommend only older considerate children.

Dogs: Yes, recommend feeding her separate to allow her to eat at her pace.

Cats:   Yes, recommend feeding her separate to allow her to eat at her pace.

Crate trained: Not routinely kenneled, as she loves to be around her human family.

Potty trained: Work in progress, does use paper pads indoors or is taken outside to go.

Health concerns: None

Current medications & estimated costs: None

Adoption fee: $100

As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.)

Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine.

$50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.

Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.

Once you submit your application, our adoption manager will be in touch, so please check your spam folder if you do not see something from us within 7-10 days.

Thank you again for your interest in a Grey Face senior. We appreciate your support!
