My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet one of the crazy eights! Fostered near Charleston, SC.
Barnacle’s favorite things are exploring the great outdoors, the kiddie pool and napping. He has a special talent for wedging himself into small places, but he is anything but small, currently (5/22/24) pushing 15 lbs. He is a sweet, low energy boy who loves to observe and study his world, but eagerly engages in playtime as well. He has been socialized around children, several dogs and a variety of adults. Currently not interested in the cat but has never had a face-to-face. Doing well with pee pad training and transitioning to the great outdoors.

Born 3/22/24 to an Aussie mom and a German Shepherd dad, Barnacle and his littermates were surrendered to a rural KY shelter after their family suffered a house fire in which their dad sadly perished.
We always advise against children under 10 as he will be big and may knock small children over.

There is an additional $50 REFUNDABLE neuter deposit that will be refunded upon proof of procedure and a $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
