Remoulade parties hard, like a frat boy. And pukes like one too. He was having such a good time running around with his new best friend the red ball he barely noticed when he projectile vomited in our direction. It didn’t phase him either and there was barely a pause before he started playing again. Remoulade knows some commands but toys trump treats every time. He likes attention and allows handling but isn’t needy. Remoulade is happy to self-entertain.
Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information.
The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
