**Courtesy Post** Scout is an 8 year old boy who has a lot of love to give. He longs for someone who can understand his terrier ways. He needs to be an only dog. He loves to be with his owner…wherever that is! He is a perfect lap dog!! And he even likes cats! All vet work is done. Because he was neutered as an 8 year old he will need a little patience. Plus, being an only dog will help as he will not feel compelled to mark. You need to have a securely fenced yard and it will help if you are familiar with the breed. This little guy is so deserving of a forever home. Can anyone give him a chance? He is at Pontotoc County Animal Welfare (Paws N Ada). They are a non-profit dedicated to saving animals. The first step in adopting a rescue dog from Russell Rescue, Inc. is to complete the adoption application at the link below.

Interview
Once your adoption application is submitted, someone with Russell Rescue, Inc. will contact you.
3.
Home Check
You will be required to provide a vet reference and allow us to send a volunteer to your home.
4.
Meet the Pet
Once you are approved to adopt from Russell Rescue, Inc., arrangements will be made for a meet-and-greet with your dog's foster parent.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
You are required to sign an adoption contract with Russell Rescue, Inc.
6.
Pay Fee
All of our Russell Rescue, Inc. dogs are fully vetted and spayed or neutered. The adoption fee is $275, unless otherwise noted.
7.
Take the Pet Home
You are on your way home with your Jack Russell! Give them some time to adjust to their new surroundings. Contact us with any questions.
