Angel, a 38# mixed breed girl, arrived as a stray and was never claimed. We estimate her birthday to be June of 2023. What breeds are in there? Hopefully you'll do a DNA test after adoption so you can let us know! Maybe some shepherd... or border collie... or who knows what! Angel says she is the perfect recipe for a dog, all the parts blended smoothly.

Angel's bubbly and enthusiastic personality mirrors her inner puppy. She wants to play and is still learning how to properly ask for the attention she seeks. Staff and volunteers have done a great job beginning to teach her not to jump or bark when she is attention seeking; this work will need to continue in her forever home.

Angel is house trained and will bark and let us know when she needs to go out. She gets along well with all the dogs in the shelter but views kitties more as animated squeaky toys than friends, so no kitties in Angel's family. We have introduced Angel to children past the toddler stages, and she does well. We don't recommend babies or toddlers as her habit of jumping for attention could turn toddlers into bowling pins, oops.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Angel is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
