Hi! I’m Ziggy! I am a smart and sweet guy who gets along great with other dogs. I have not spent time around cats or kids to know how I would do around them. I am house trained and crate trained (my crate is my safe space) and I walk really well on a leash! My favorite toys are balls and bones and things that squeak. I am learning new commands too. Right now I know “sit” and “wait”. When it comes to treats I am pretty easy to please. I enjoy any and all treats and food and get super excited to eat, so when I eat my meals I get to eat out of this really cool bowl that my foster parents got for me called a slow feeder! I hope my new family will continue this fun game for me at meal time! I love my people (my little tail wags a mile a minute when I see them and my foster families’ 2 dogs), so I just cannot wait to find my forever home so I can settle in and give lots of kisses! Our fees depend on age of pet but include all relevant shots, vetting, micro-chip and spay/neuter unless a vet recommends not doing.

We do require a contract, home and vet check. All animals currently in your home must also be spayed/neutered unless a vet recommends otherwise.

Cause for Canines is a 501(c)(3)volunteer based all-breed dog rescue founded in Central Ohio.

We are committed to the rescue of homeless dogs, dogs given up by their owners due to difficult circumstances or those in danger of abuse or neglect, and dogs in shelters that are at risk of euthanasia.

Our mission is to find safe, loving, committed and permanent homes for the dogs we take into rescue.
