My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mac was originally adopted 2 years ago.  He is now being returned because the adopter failed to house train him.  Poor Mac is a gentle guy at 5 years of age, weighing 20 pounds.  He has lived with cats, is good with other dogs and children.  We believe he is a Keeshond.  Do you have the patience to house train this cutie?  If so, you will have a very loving life companion.

To meet Mac, please fill out an adoption application:   https://form.jotform.com/91758283848171

More about this rescue

Save the Satos Inc. is a non-profit, registered 501c3 organization which is focused on changing the lives of the stray dogs (known to the locals as Satos) of Puerto Rico. We rescue the unwanted dogs of the island, and transport them to NJ where they are placed in loving foster homes. The Satos are made happy and healthy, socialized, spayed/neutered and put up for adoption to find their forever home.

Save the Satos also focuses on helping pet owners in Puerto Rico by providing food, shelter, spay/neuter, flea/tick/heart worm prevention, vaccines and veterinary care to families in need.
