Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cindy is a 6-year-old black-and-white female with a lively and unique personality. While she has some quirks, Cindy is a sweet, playful dog with a lot of love to give.
Cindy was recently returned to the shelter due to her loud and vocal nature. She tends to bark and whine when she sees other dogs, often trying to approach them out of excitement. However, she has not displayed any aggression, such as growling or showing teeth. Cindy is housebroken and enjoys meeting new people, making her a friendly and social companion.
Cindy loves going on walks, where her fast pace keeps things exciting. She reacts to bicycles on the trail, but she responds to corrections and continues to improve with training. She’s very gentle when taking treats, knows the `sit` command, and delights in playing with toys. Cindy is also quite expressive, often making adorable sounds and grunts that add to her charm.
In playgroups, Cindy has been described as a “gentle dainty selective” dog, with minor assertive tendencies that are easily managed with proper guidance. She takes corrections well and continues to show progress with stimulus control.
Cindy would do best in a home that understands her vocal nature and can provide structure, patience, and plenty of outlets for her energy. With the right environment, Cindy has the potential to thrive and become a loving, loyal companion.
