My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Petey, the 2 year-old, 57 pound, energetic and playful Pit Bull mix pup ready to bring joy to his forever home!

Petey is a friendly and outgoing dog who appears to be house trained, always keeping his run clean. He loves spending time both indoors and outdoors with his people, enjoying every moment of companionship. While he likes an occasional bone, Petey is more motivated by toys and loves to play with them. He does well with his toys when supervised but tends to destroy them if left alone, so he appreciates some company during playtime.

Petey has done well with all the adults he has met and enjoys car rides and walks. He's already mastered the commands "sit" and "fetch," showcasing his intelligence and eagerness to please. Although he hasn't been exposed to kids or other dogs, Petey will make a great companion for an adult household without children or other pets. He needs a home without cats.

A fenced yard is not required but would be ideal for Petey. He loves to play outside and needs more exercise than just a walk to burn off his energy. Described as friendly, outgoing, happy, playful, and quiet, Petey is sure to bring lots of love and laughter to his new home.

If you're looking for a loyal and energetic companion, Petey might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet him today and see why he's such a special boy!

His minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
