This is Sunny

Uniquely different and interesting. She has one amazing blue eye and one brown, her tongue is spotted and she has super soft ears!

Sunny can be a little shy at times but is a happy dog. She likes to lean close to you when petted. She loves other dogs and has fun playing with them

She would be best in a household with teenagers and adults. She`ll make an impressive companion if you`re the kind of owner who can admire her independent character

She is quiet in nature and will need some exercise. Sunny walks well on a leash and likes to go for walks. She enjoys the water too.

We are not sure if she will be ok with cats. So a proper introduction will be necessary if you have a feline friend.

If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-3pm.

My adoption fee is $50.00

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
