Meet Simba, our 7-year-old superstar! 🎉 This spunky yet laid-back pup is ready to steal your heart and be your new best friend. Come meet Simba and see if he's the perfect match for your home! He recently got to enjoy a temporary stay in foster care! Here is what his foster parents had to say about him:
"Simba is eager to please and happy to do whatever his people are doing. If you’re up for a walk, he is too. If you just want to chill in front of the TV, he’s down!! Although not crate trained, he’s fully house trained and well behaved when left alone in the house. Some of Simba’s favorite things are belly and ear scratches, bacon flavored treats, car rides and soft sided toys (although he likes to pull out the stuffing, so no-stuff toys are probably best for him). He hasn’t met a human he didn't immediately like, but is hit or miss with other dogs. He knows commands like sit, stay, shake, down and leave it and is a fast learner of new house rules. Simba gets excited and vocal around neighborhood deer and sometimes other dogs. When he gets excited he may try to Houdini his way out of his collar, so it’s recommended to walk him with a harness while he’s still perfecting his leash etiquette."HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Adopters must be at least 18 years old. If you don't own your residence, you must provide a copy of the lease agreement stating that you're able to own animals. We will check your animal control history and there is about 15-20 minutes worth of paperwork before you can take your animal home.
