Meet Carmella!

Carmella is a sweet and petite 4-5-year-old pup with a heart full of love and a longing for her forever family. Despite the challenges she’s faced, including losing her home, Carmella remains a gem who is ready to bring joy to the right person or family.

This little lady is good on the leash and makes an excellent hiking buddy, happily strolling alongside other dogs during her outdoor adventures. She’s also a natural in the car, riding like a champ to wherever life takes her. Once she warms up to you, Carmella adores pets and attention, showing her affectionate and loving side.

Carmella is a smart cookie, already knowing her basic commands and taking treats ever so gently. She thrives in calm and relaxed environments and would do best in a home without small dogs, cats, or children. Carmella gets nervous around kids, so an adult-only household would suit her best. While she can be a bit bossy with other dogs, she gets along with them after proper introductions.

New people can make her nervous, so having a crate or a quiet space where she can retreat when visitors are around helps her feel safe and secure. A secure yard where she can safely explore under supervision would be her dream, as she has a knack for sneaky escapes.

Carmella is looking for a special home with patient and loving humans who understand her needs. Meeting all family members and any resident dogs beforehand will help ensure a perfect match.
