The shelter sadness can easily overwhelm even our hard hearts. Rae is so sad in her kennel when we pass by. But outside, she is a pretty splendid gal. Rae is a solid medium on the energy scale. She knows commands, favors snorts as her go to communication method, and loves all the snacks. Rae will play with toys or sunbathe next to us. Save Rae for her summertime shelter sadness and help us find her a great home that matches her greatness.

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
