My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Angelina Ballerina (Coco)! A gentle, mature lady of 6-7 yrs old, Coco knows her manners and is excellent when walking on the leash.

Don’t let her age fool you - Coco loves to play! She greets doggies with excitement (gentle yipping, barely leash-pulling), loves to be chased, and respects other doggy’s boundaries. Sometimes she cutely-howls when she hears the ambulance

Towards new hoomans, Coco is a bit shy. But once you’ve gained her trust by showering her with TLC & treats (she loves bullysticks & hotdogs), she will never leave your side. She will follow you to the bathroom, kitchen (her fav place of course), bed, sofa…Coco is a sweet velcro-dog but has no problem being at home alone.

Coco is house-trained & crate-trained. Even when she’s not in the crate & alone, she has shown no signs of destructive behavior towards furniture.

Coco is the perfect companion for someone who loves to stroll in the city! She can either have a Netflix-chill day, gentle-hike day, or running-errands day. Coco definitely enjoys car rides & would make the perfect adventurous companion

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
