Meet Waylon, the sweet and playful 1-year-old pup who is ready to steal your heart! This 24 lb bundle of joy is of unknown breed, but may be a Beagle mix. Waylon is house trained, great on a leash, and even knows how to sit on command – a smart and obedient companion indeed!

Waylon gets along well with cats and other dogs. While he hasn't been around kids much, with his gentle demeanor and loving personality, he is likely to do great with children too. Waylon enjoys cuddling up for some quality time and is always up for playing or running around the yard. Waylon is still working on crate training, but he’s already getting better.

If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate furry friend to bring joy and laughter into your home, Waylon is the perfect match for you. Waylon is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

Home Check

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
