Meet Adelaide – The Spotty Sunshine!

Adelaide is a sweet, energetic, and incredibly outgoing girl who is sure to light up your life. With her striking spots and vibrant personality, she’s bound to put a smile on your face wherever she goes. She has a special ability to make every room feel warmer with her presence and is ready to offer you a deeper love than you’ve ever known.

This playful girl is full of energy and loves to stay active – no gym workouts for her! Adelaide loves a big yard where she can run free, feeling the wind in her fur. Whether it's zooming around or engaging in a game of fetch, this girl loves to be on the move.

Though she loves her playtime, Adelaide has a cuddly side too. After a good run, she’ll happily lean against your leg, asking for some well-deserved love and affection. She’s a true companion who will be by your side, offering loyalty and love every step of the way. If you stop petting her, she’ll gently remind you with a soft boop of her paw – she’s not shy about asking for all the attention she deserves!  Adelaide never says no to a relaxing spa day!

And did we mention how smart she is? Adelaide is a true genius when it comes to learning commands, and she has a few tricks up her sleeve that might just impress you! Come meet her and ask her to show you what she can do – you won’t be disappointed.

If you're looking for a fun-loving, playful, and affectionate companion, Adelaide is the perfect match for you. She can’t wait to meet her forever family and start the next chapter of her adventure with you!

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
