Why I need a new home

Does not get along with other pet

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elby is a 2 year old neutered male cat, medium size (9-10 lbs), fully up to date on vaccinations. I adopted him a few months ago as a companion for my resident cat. Unfortunately resident cat has not accepted him. As much as I have come to love this cat, I feel it is better for both his and my other cat’s mental health and stress levels to find him a new home.

Elby is kind of a dream cat, he is playful and loves to snuggle. Once he is bonded with you, he gives head butts and climbs on top of you at every opportunity. He is extremely food focused, which could lead to some fun training, but also requires some major cat-proofing and management around meal times. He is confident, curious and loving, and an easy cat to fall in love with.

Other than my cat, I’ve not seen him interact with other cats. I got the feeling that at first he really was interested in my cat, and think he could integrate well into a house with other cats or a friendly dog. He loves kiddos.
