Mia is a beautiful 10-month old girl who deserves to be in a loving home. She’s been surrendered with her mom by their owner who no longer could care for them so our rescued offered a foster home for Mia. Her mom is pure breed Shar Pei and the father mix breed.
She is safe now and ready to be scooped by her own people!
Mia’s adapted to New York City incredibly fast as she is very smart dog! She is confident, obedient and curious about the world around her. She is being fostered with two other dogs and a cat with whom, after proper introduction she bonded well. She even wants to play with a cat who is a boss of the household. She let her furry roommate dogs take her chewing stick so she learned sharing skills.
She is a dog that loves affection more than anything, and if you're looking for a dog who loves her person, she would be a perfect fit.
As young pup she is full of energy, playful and very athletic. Her ideal home would be one with or without another dog, a fenced in yard, where she could expend her energy. She could also do well in the city if taken on frequent walks. Respectful older children (15+) and someone who works from home, at least part of the day is a must.
Mandatory dog training is required to adopt Mia as she needs to learn how to behave properly. Since she is still a young pup with high energy she gets excited when she sees another dog passing her by. Currently she goes on pack walks every day so she is learning how to behave.
She is house-broken and crate trained but she prefers to be near her foster mom either on a couch or a floor.
This stunning girl is very loving, loyal and will get attached to her human. She has so much to offer!
