Pope is a more mature puppy compared to his siblings. He enjoys being close to his people. He is a loyal guy who wants to be right with his people but he also enjoys playing with his siblings and with toys. He is a smart guy who has quickly picked up on his foster family's routine. He is working on crate/kennel training, going potty outside, and coming when called. He is just a great guy who will make someone a loyal companion and assistant! Pope will complete his vet care in mid- July. Certain adopters may be eligible to foster-to-adopt Pope and bring him home sooner. SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area.
