Hi! I’m Falcor. I am a sweet, energetic and goofy guy who gets along great with other dogs and cats. I have not been around kids yet to know how I would do around them. I am house trained and crate trained (I can be left alone for the duration of your normal work day) and I walk well on a leash too. I am an expressive and vocal guy and I get pretty excited about just about everything – including mealtime and when I am playing. Because of my energetic ways I would do best in a home with no shared walls please. I don’t have a favorite treat because I enjoy everything I am given. The same with toys. I enjoy all of them. I know commands too! I know: “sit” and “crate” and I am working on “shake”, “wait” and “stay”. Even though I love to play and play some more and I like taking my walks too, I am a great cuddler and melt into a puddle on the floor when I get my big floppy ears rubbed. Oh, and I really enjoy joining my family for all activities like visits to breweries, parks and taking car rides! I cannot wait to find my very own active family who will be patient with me as I work through my puppy energy and manners and who will teach me new things as I continue learn and grow. Our fees depend on age of pet but include all relevant shots, vetting, micro-chip and spay/neuter unless a vet recommends not doing.

We do require a contract, home and vet check. All animals currently in your home must also be spayed/neutered unless a vet recommends otherwise.

Cause for Canines is a 501(c)(3)volunteer based all-breed dog rescue founded in Central Ohio.

We are committed to the rescue of homeless dogs, dogs given up by their owners due to difficult circumstances or those in danger of abuse or neglect, and dogs in shelters that are at risk of euthanasia.

Our mission is to find safe, loving, committed and permanent homes for the dogs we take into rescue.
