Roscoe was found running in a rural area last fall. Our vet estimated he had been out on his own for several weeks and that he is 4 years old. We took him in and our two beagles do not like him at all. Roscoe is extremely timid but very loving. He likes all animals. It was instantly obvious he had been abused. He cowers when you reach out to pet him but absolutely loves being petted and scratched. He’s learning how to play and likes to go for walks. He is a goofy dog with some quirks. Every meal is like he hasn’t eaten in days, we use a slow feeder. He does not use his nose like you would expect a hound to, he definitely could never be used for hunting, he’d never find anything. Roscoe needs a home full of love and attention, he hasn’t had much and he deserves it!
He is housebroken and crated. He knows the command sit and is learning lay down. He is fully vetted and on flea/tick/heart worm preventative. He is approximately 65lbs.
