My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bell Bell has had a rough go in life, she found herself in a shelter with her gorgeous fur severely matted! She was taken into the rescue and immediately was taken to have a full shave to remove all the matting. We knew Bell Bell has been though things in her life we will never understand, and because of this Bell Bell had shut down. Her foster mom has slowly been working with Bell Bell to teach her she will have nothing but a good life now. She still is fearful of being picked up and pet but after a few minutes of scratches and loves she realizes it’s okay to accept love from humans again. She has started exploring the house more and more every day! We have decided to put Bell Bell up for adoption so that her forever family can continue to work with her and teacher her humans are not meant to hurt animals. We want Bell Bell to come out of her shell and fall in love with her family. Bell Bell is seeking an experienced cat owner who will give her all the time she needs to trust again. She also requests that her forever home be calm and quiet! She will also need regular grooming which must be taken slow and gentle. She could possibly go to a home with a dog that is mellow and calm.

The first step to meeting Bell Bell and learning about the adoption process is to fill out a no obligation application at: http://www.forgottenpetadvocates.com/cat-adoption-application/

More about this rescue

We are an organization that supports animal welfare. We are the voice to those animals that have no one to advocate for them.

These animals have been abandoned in boarding facilities, in Houston and surrounding areas.

"Kennel life is NO LIFE for any animal, it is lonely and heart breaking.
Sleeping alone each night hearing amplified barks of other dogs.
Having to go potty, but no one hears your cries.
The pain of being in there another night, and another and another.
Cats meowing in their cages, wanting to stretch out.
Seeing animals come and go and no one ever comes for you.
Wondering how did I end up here and how do I get out!
We are their voice now and we will not stop until they all have homes and families of their own".
