Hercules is looking for someone to be their hero. This 3 year old 170 pound Bull Mastiff is massive and definitely the size of a small pony. He is a lazy, affectionate big OOF that needs someone bigger and stronger than him to make him their sidekick in life. Being the only dog would be so good for him since the former owner never socialized him with other dogs. He assumed that Hercules might be a little aggressive or assertive and so we just don’t know for sure.
Maybe a female dog would be fine but we doubt a male would be a good idea in the future home. He is not great on a leash. Noone took that time to really train him but it still is doable with the right person knowing how to do it. He is housebroken, crate trained and he is not destructive in the house. This boy will make you laugh, make you want to protect him (even though he is big) and he will love you unconditionally and who in the world would ever break in to your home!? Goodness they would be insane. This boy loves people though….but if you don’t know him then he could be a nice guardian.
A fenced yard would be the perfect environment for everyone. If you qualify, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
