Howdy Doody, my name is Clifford and I am a handsome little red Dachshund mix, about 5 years old, weighing 11 lbs, and I was a stray dog in Nixon Texas. I am an easygoing, go-along-to-get-along sort of fella. I enjoy the company of people and am friendly with everyone, very congenial with other dogs, but not too playful. I’m more of a people dog, love my person, and want to be close to them as often as possible. I rarely bark, don't dig or chew, don't guard my food and I’m not even afraid of thunderstorms. I am working on some housebreaking skills and doing well. I enjoy going on walks and I don't mind a ride in the car. I’m very low-maintenance and will make an excellent companion. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
