My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oliver Cheng is an almost 5 month old Shar-pei. He and his sister, Sissy Jing, were owner surrenders due to the wife being allergic. They were originally bought from a breeder and are reported to be pure bred. Oliver is house broke in his foster home with use of a doggie door. He is a very sweet boy who loves some couch snuggle time. He is good with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to romp and play in the yard with all of his foster fur siblings. Oliver is still just a puppy so will need training with basic commands, he is eager to please and very smart so this should be easy for him. Anyone interested should familiarize themselves with the breed as they are not for everyone. Socialization should be a priority with his breed as they can become stand offish with strangers. Oliver Cheng's adult weight is expected to be 45-55 pounds. His adoption fee of $300 covers his neuter, microchip with registration, 3 puppy vaccines, rabies vaccine, and current flea/tick/heartworm preventions. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply.

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
