Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chief is a handsome 8 year-old Mini Bernedoodle (27 lbs). He is a beautiful and loving animal who we brought into our home when he was 8 weeks old and before we had kids. He is very good with our two kids, ages 7 and 5.

He loves to follow us around and play fetch with his ball! He is sensitive, caring, and loves his family (including dog walker) very much. He needs and likes a lot of exercise and is admittedly an anxious/nervous dog (the mailman, trucks, and neighbors can hear him telling them so). Chief ultimately will do best outside of a city or small neighborhood environment where he can run freely and play with sticks in the woods. Keeping him from trying to run out to inappropriately "greet" neighboring dogs has been our primary challenge.
