Meet 2 year old Patchi!
Patchi is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves nothing more than to be close to his people. His favorite spot is right in the middle of his foster mom and dad on the bed, where he starts his night. Eventually, he makes his way to the floor and sleeps soundly through the night, always scooting himself close to them to feel all the love. While he’s generous with his affection he isn’t an excessive kisser.
Did you say smart? Oh yes, this guy is a good listener and knows many tricks.
Patchi is currently working with a trainer on his leash skills and will need to continue working on it with his new family. He adores car rides and outdoor adventures and can never get enough of spending time outside. He loves toys especially his ball which he loves to carry around. Patchi can be wary of new people entering his home but can also quickly become their bestfriend. He just needs time to warm up before people invade his space and with the right approach, he is wonderful and trusting. He is always up for a cuddle session on the couch while watching a movie.
Patchi’s ideal home would be with a family who enjoys spending as much time outdoors as he does and one that is patient and would be keen on socialization classes with him where we know he will learn a lot and enjoy all of the rewards, treats! He would also enjoy having a fenced in backyard where he can run around freely . He has pretty much mastered doing his business outdoors and he does not make any trouble when left alone while his foster parents go to work. He loves playing with other dogs and would enjoy having a romp in a fenced-in yard with his dog friends. He would very much welcome another dog in the home that enjoys his energy level.

These animals give unconditional love and should receive the same love back. Unfortunately there is a need and while ever there is a need we will be there to help. Our long term goal is to build towards the opening of our own shelter and be able to help with behavioral issues, special needs, and to offer a haven to less adoptable pets. We are always very thankful for any pet related donations to assist the animals in our care
