Meet Honeybee: A Little Survivor with a Big Heart
Honeybee is a tiny bundle of resilience and love, weighing just 10 pounds and estimated to be about a year old. Though timid at first, she’s already making incredible progress learning to walk on a leash—a completely new experience for her! With a patient family and a welcoming doggie sibling to show her the ropes, Honeybee will surely blossom into the confident, happy pup she’s meant to be.
A Story of Survival:
In June, Honeybee and her furry companions—her momma Magnolia, and friends Macon & Emilia Mae—were rescued from a dire situation. They were left alone in a sweltering truck, exposed to Florida’s brutal sun and storms, with nothing but a thin sheet offering meager “protection.” Severely dehydrated and suffering, these dogs were on the brink of disaster.
Thanks to relentless efforts from a group of caring individuals who refused to look away, Honeybee and her friends were saved.
What Honeybee Needs:
Honeybee thrives in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a canine friend to help her learn, grow and play. She would do best in a home with someone home a majority of the time – she looooves her people!
If you can open your heart and home to Honeybee as a forever family, please apply at Maxxandme.org.
Together, we can give Honeybee the life she’s always deserved.
