What is both as sweet and as soft as cotton candy? Bridget! The softest, fluffiest, sweetest little dachshund ever! Bridget is a 6 yr old, 12 lb piebald dachshund that came from a commercial breeding facility. Unfortunately, life hasn't always been kind to Bridget, so she's shy at first. But once Bridget trusts you, this fluffy little girl is all about getting attention and snuggles.
Bridget is looking for her emotional support human. She's looking for someone that loves to cuddle. She enjoys having her super soft coat brushed, taking short walks and going for rides in the car so she can spend as much time as possible with her favorite person.
Bridget gets along well with and likes to play with other small dogs. She would prefer a home with a small, playful resident dog for her companion. She especially loves her foster brother Leo DiCaprio. They are absolute besties cuddling and playing with each other. ❤
Bridget is doing well with her potty training as long as she is taken out regularly. Bridget will need a securely fenced yard to help her to continue to master this skill in a safe environment. Bridget sleeps nicely in her kennel at night, although she occasionally has an accident.

The suggested adoption donation for Bridget is a minimum of $500 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
