I got Bo in August of 2016. He had been around a dog. He has no front claws. He came like that. He had an adjusting period moving to our house of 5 cats. He had another adjusting period when we moved to a new house in 2017 a year later. In October 2023 we took in my dad's cat and at the end of January, we had to take in my dad's dog because my dad has dementia and is in memory care.
Bo does ok with other cats but would prefer being the only cat in the house. He decided he did not like my dad's dog coming into his home. He likes his space. He will let you pet him after he gets to know you. Occasionally sits on your lap and can be temperamental at times and loving.
He is litter box trained and will use it, but can be stubborn about it at times. He gets upset with the other animals so he is in a bedroom. He likes to roam the house, but it is not possible with the dog. Rehoming my dad's dog is not an option right now, so we want to rehome Bo to give him a more happy life. He is 9 or 10.
