Red is a handsome cutie-pie looking for a home to call his own! He is a silly little guy with a love for tail-waggin' and kiss givin'. He is an active dude, so will need a family that is down to give him the exercise he needs! Fetch, long walks, belly rubs, treats- oh my! Red is a sweet boy that loves attention, too, so if you're looking for a snuggle buddy, he's your guy. He hasn't been around other dogs here, yet, but would be open to a meet & greet with your dog! More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
