My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pixie is a small, 1 1/2 year old girl who is a very sweet dog with a playful side - one of her favorite past times playing with her toys and a ball. She also loves to be around people and will gladly join you on the couch for some cuddle time and definitely likes sleeping in the the bed with her human. She is fearful of big dogs when she first meets them, but once she learns that they won't hurt her, she's ok with them. Pixie is a very intelligent dog and is fully house-trained. She is an adorable dog who will win your heart over with her big eyes!

She was rescued by a very kind lady in her 80's about a year ago -- the nice lady couldn't bear the way she was being treated and convinced her owners to give Pixie to her. She tried to find Pixie a loving forever home, but was unsuccessful, so asked SPCHS if we could take her in. Of course, we agreed!

Pixie is up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, and she is spayed. Pixie weighs 12 lbs.
