Look at handsome Maverick. This year-old pup is a gorgeous collie and Australian shepherd mix. He’s incredibly sweet and fantastically smart and never met anyone he didn’t love immediately. He loves to snuggle, play tug of war, and race around the dog park. He thinks toys are awesome and will happily play with balls, squeakers, stuffed animals, and tugs.

Maverick absolutely loves other dogs and is very social. He’d prefer a home with another friendly and playful dog pal so he has someone to romp with all day. He knows so many commands including sit, stay, lay down, leave it, free, side, and spin. He’s house trained, has pretty good leash skills, and is good with kids.

Maverick needs a home with a physical, fenced yard where someone is around much of the time. He thrives when he’s with other dogs and his people. He wants an active family that will take him for walks and keep up with his training.

Maverick is being fostered in the St. Louis area.

The first step in adoption will be to fill out an application. Once the application is approved, we will contact you. We may also request a home visit which will be done by one of our volunteers. Our goal is to not only find our pups a safe home but ensure it is a good match for the adopter and the pup.

Our adoption donation fee is $300.00. This includes the spay/neuter and the pup being current on vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped.
