My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rex
Rottweiler mix
1-2 years/Male
24-D175
Intake: June 27, 2024

Rex came to the shelter when he was found on Cayenne Cove, and we can’t believe nobody came looking for him. He’s a big boy with a big bark when you first meet him in his kennel but is really a big softy. He’s a handsome guy and can give such serious looks and you have to wonder what he’s thinking about. We’ve been trying to figure out what’s in his DNA other than Rotti and came to the conclusion it’s definitely not Chihuahua. Come meet this big hunk and spend some time with him, he just might be your new bff.
He will need to meet all family members, including resident dogs to make sure everyone gets along before going home. Once home, please give him time to decompress and get used to what you expect of him. You will have to put in the time to train him and with patience, you will be amazed at how smart he is.

Ready to meet Rex? Pet viewing hours are Monday-Friday, Noon-7pm and Saturday, Noon-4pm.
