Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tapatio is a love bug. He was recently in a foster home, and his foster shared that he is the rare rabbit who will give kisses on any skin he can find (even feet!). He can be a little shy and sometimes will spook by sudden or loud noises, but he enjoys human company.
His foster says, “Tapatio is a very good boy with a healthy appetite for soft hay like second cut timothy. He loves to dig his nose into a fresh pile of hay. For his tiny size, he eats a ton and eats fast. He can finish that pile of hay in the picture in a day. He loves all kinds of different veggies and fruits. He loves to chew on cat cardboard scratchers, paper, and apple sticks. He loves to zoom around at night and sleep somewhere enclosed and elevated like my cat's tree. He keeps himself entertained.
He gets along well with my cat. While I play with my cat with strings, he will be nearby doing binkies. He's very curious but skittish. He will come up to me whenever I call his name or when I'm in the room. He likes to jump on me and lick any skin that's exposed. Loud sounds and sudden movements can make him run for shelter, but he's quick to come out once the commotion is over.
Tapatio is such a sweet boy. He's the bestest hay eater. For his size, he can really eat! He likes to chew on cardboard cat scratchers, apple sticks, and plastic, but doesn't chew on anything he's not supposed to. His potty habits are very clean, very mindful, very demure. He only ever poops and pees in the corner of his litterbox.”
Tapatio is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.

More about this rescue
Since 1988, House Rabbit Society, its supporters, small staff, local chapters, licensed educators, and other volunteers around the globe have been advocating for the care and well-being of rabbits.
Our goal is to help people see rabbits as intelligent and social pets who thrive indoors. HRS’ mission, philosophy, and policies have influenced the formation of many other nonprofit rabbit rescue groups and set a standard for the treatment and respect of domesticated rabbits. As a nonprofit, we rely on membership support and other donations–large and small. HRS financial documents are provided below, which record our programmatic efforts over the past decade.
