Hi, I'm Blue! I came to WCHS because I was too much for the youngest child in my home who happened to have Autism. I'm really a great boy, but I had a rough start to life. When my most recent owner got me, I had a limp. It turns out that I previously had a broken leg that healed on its own. I may walk a little funky from time to time and I should stay on joint supplements. I also wasn't exposed to a lot of things during the first 6 months of my life, so new things can be initially scary. I love to play, but I'm basically a big puppy still so sometimes I can get a little rough and mouthy. I do listen when told to stop by an adult, but little kids who are my size remind me of dog friends, so I don't quite get the difference. In my last home, there was a cat that I really enjoyed chasing when I got the chance. I don't understand why he didn't enjoy it as much as me which is why I ignored any of his corrections. I've lived with multiple other dogs and I think they're all great. It would be beneficial to have another dog in my home to help show me the ropes, but if I'm your one and only I'm sure to bond with you very quickly.
