My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Bruin and I am a very nice, easy going, Chocolate Lab and I turn 3 years old the end of December of 2024.  I am 65 pounds and I used to live with a family that raised me from a puppy.  Seems that along the way one of the young children that I grew up, suddenly developed allergies to me and so they received help from Critter Cavalry Rescue to rehome me.  I am living with a wonderful foster mom named Dallis and she has another dog and we have so much fun together.   I love to ride in cars and I would really have a blast if you had a fenced yard so I could run off leash and chase a ball or just hang out.  I know that Critter Cavalry Rescue can find a great home for me.  I get along with everyone and all the dogs that I meet.  If I meet a cat I probably will be their friend too….if they are nice to me.   I am what you call a “ladies’ man” and I love the attention from them.  Kids are great in my life if you have those too.  Please email at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to ask for an application and be sure to tell Critter Cavalry Rescue where you live, city and state.

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal.
