My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lou Lou is a mystery breed pup (we’d love to see the results of a DNA test for her!) at a cool four and a half years old. This playful pup walks great on a leash, but let's be honest, sometimes the world throws surprises! When things get a little scary, Lou Lou looks for her trusted humans for reassurance.

Here's the thing: Lou Lou has a special talent - the nervous smile! It might sound funny, but this awkward grin pops up when she's a bit unsure, but not full-on freaked. It's the cutest way of saying, "Some pets and maybe a pep talk, please?"

Ideal adopter: Lou Lou would thrive in a calm, loving home with a patient and understanding human. Someone who can celebrate her victories (like conquering that noisy squirrel!) and offer gentle guidance when she needs it.

Lou Lou is a work in progress, but with a little love and patience, her goofy smile will light up your life!

P.S. Her brother, Hank, is available for adoption too!New River Animal Rescue
