I have lived a sheltered life living with only one older person with no other animals or children.

I will need a slow introduction to my new home, starting in one low-traffic space with food, water, bed and litter box until I am feeling 100% comfortable and have settled into my new environment. I have a history of hiding under beds, so my adopter should provide me with appropriate hiding spaces to ensure I feel safe.

I need an adopter who will be patient with me and be able to read my body language. I do not like to be picked up.

The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon - 4:30pm, with no appointment needed to meet available cats.
