Meet Eddie!

This handsome sweetheart believe it or not is likely a havanese/Shepherd mix. His 3 siblings all had the same 'look' to each other and then sweet eddie the odd man out. However, his personality is identical to his siblings and so are his eyes and little nose so we KNOW he is not a 'dud' ha ha

Eddie grew up with his siblings as bottle babies the month of march/may. Finally old enough to go into adoption in June and as of the first week of July he is now 4.5mo old and is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchiped and 27 pounds! We expect Mr. Ed to grow into the med/large breed range likely in the 45-65 pounds. Eddie is social and loving with all people, children, women and men alike. He is fantastic with dogs and is OK with cats, he won't bother cats BUT he can bark at them if he is scared, really depends on the cats personality and what they are doing around him if he feels threatened by them. Eddie loves to go on car rides, careful, he will try to stick his whole face out the window enjoying the wind so he should only have a bit of window down or secured and buckled in. He also lights up when he arrives at the dog park, he is always the talk of the park as everyone loves to say 'good evening eddie' to him and enjoy his attention. Eddie will mingle with the humans but also find dog friends to run with or he will run with the rest of the arwob foster dogs. He has not mastered fetching but he is starting to learn, he does enjoy a good chew toy for the darling chewing stage as he has already lost most of his incisor baby teeth (cutie!)

This bright handsome little devil has mesmerazing eyes so don't look into those eyes or you fill find yourself giving him more dog treats than he should have. He is knows how to sit like a proper gentleman before getting his leash on going for walks and right when he comes back, he is learning to 'wait' when he is being offered his bowl and learning so fast. He is crate trained and house trained, but adopters should know a new dog in a new home is bound to have accidents until a rhythm is found don't expect puppies to be perfect in new environments.
He is not yet a barker but when he does bark you can hear his shephers as he has a mighty bark, he should be so proud such little thing can belt some notes!

If you'd like to adopt this healthy and so loving playful pup please submit an application online at ARWOB.org and enjoy his many videos on this bio to get a glimpse of him.

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
