My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiwi is a female dachshund born 5/2022. She is spayed, current on vaccines including rabies & microchipped. She weighs 20lbs.

Kiwi is a happy, playful, confident lady! She gets along with all other sized dogs & all sized humans, we are unsure about cats. She loves to play with toys & will carry them in her mouth. She loves to be involved with everything & will make a great companion dog. She is food motivated. She is almost potty trained but accidents should be expected while she adjusts to a new environment/routine. She is doing well on her leash/harness but will need some more practice. She would love a spot in your bed at night & will greet you with kisses!

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com & you will be contacted within 48hrs if your application fits her current needs.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
