Rosa is a playful, peppy girl who loves a good game of chase and is always up for fun. Speaking of fun Rosa loves splashing around in the water and bobbing for her toys. She's definitely up for getting her feet wet. Rosa is a playgroup goofball, making her an absolute joy to watch and interact with. See her in action in her video!

When we introduced Rosa to several new dogs, she greeted each of them calmly on leash. Once in the yard together she was playful and happy, just as she is in her foster home. Rosa is fostered with 2 large dogs, one older male, and a young playful female. She thinks of them as her best friends. Rosa loves being outside, she has a doggie door she learned in no time flat.
Rosa is a fantastic playmate. She had the cutest love connection with another silly and playful female- they looked like they had always known each other. She actually things all dogs are her BFF!
Rosa enjoys the water and within a few minutes of seeing it, she was splashing around and attempting to snorkel, or at least blow bubbles with her nose. It was a hilarious, self-entertaining moment of cuteness! She has a pool in her foster home and enjoys wading in during the hot Texas days.
She’s not just about playing with other dogs; she knows how to have fun on her own too. She often grabs toys and take them to her bed, She even grabbed a fire log and brought it to her bed. Rosa is resourceful and use what she has to entertain herself!
This girl has hiking partner written all over her! Picture her carrying her own pack on a hike to the lake, where she’ll cool off in the water and enjoy a few belly rubs before hitting the trail again. Once you’re home, you’ll find her rolling around, making a nest, and likely sleeping with her belly up to the sky. When she’s not sleeping, she’ll show you that same belly-up position, now ready for her favorite form of affection – belly rubs. Rosa is a loving girl, she'e curl up next to you and enjoy a good snooze, she's also pass out affectionate kisses.
Rosa’s easy-going and playful approach with other dogs makes her a great candidate for doggy daycare, where she can enjoy a fun day out and then come home for a big nap. However, she doesn’t need that level of play every day. She’s mellow inside, happy to hang out, snuggle up or play with a toy on her own.
If you’re looking for an entertaining, well-rounded, and playful companion, Rosa is ready and available for adoption. She’s going to make a wonderful addition to your home and will encourage you to get out and enjoy the outdoors as much as she does. Whether it’s a hike, a trip to the lake, or just a walk around the neighborhood, Rosa is up for it all. And with her size, a perfect 49 lbs, she’s a great fit for apartment or condo living too. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $800 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
