Meet darling Burger! She was found outside in early March with no chip or collar. She turned out to be pregnant and delivered five beautiful black and white kittens. She is very friendly, affectionate and playful. She wants to be petted and be with her human friends all the time. She has very good house manners. Burger is very gentle and she does not climb on tables or counter tops. She would love to be adopted with one of her babies to keep her company: Benek, Sneezel, or Button. Burger and all of her kittens are all very social and affectionate. They would do well with cat-savvy children and other pets, given proper introductions. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines.

Burger is spayed, has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125 by herself or $200 with a kitten. Do you have the purrfect home for this adorable girl?

Interview

If your application is approved, one of our board members will contact you for a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
