Meet Royal, a handsome 3-year-old Mountain Cur with a zest for life! This charming dog is house-trained and crate-trained, making him a fantastic addition to any home. Royal gets along famously with other dogs, although his interactions with cats are still a bit of a mystery.

One of Royal's favorite pastimes is being outdoors and going for long walks. His love for the great outdoors is only matched by his enthusiasm for digging - a trait that adds a touch of quirkiness to his vibrant personality. If you're considering adopting Royal, be sure to have a fenced yard ready to accommodate his adventurous spirit and consider enrolling him in obedience training to keep his digging in check.

We are located at 3 Arrow Avenue in Cody Wyoming. Our adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from noon-5:00. We have amazing dogs and cats!

More about this shelter

We are a small animal shelter located in the heart of the old west, Cody Wyoming. The majority of our funding comes from an amazing community of animal lovers who give whenever they can to help the many homeless pets in Park County. We currently have the facilities to care for as many as 25 dogs and 60 cats at a time. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and we are not affiliated with any political action organizations.
