My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dandy, a lively and playful male standard poodle who has a special talent for brightening up any room he enters. Hailing from a farm where a breeder kept all the dogs without much early socialization, Dandy’s journey to becoming such a wonderful dog is a delightful mystery. Despite his humble beginnings, Dandy’s fun-loving and energetic nature has made him a standout companion. Arriving in our care with his buddy Steel, he’s been exploring his new surroundings with unbounded enthusiasm and curiosity, getting into everything and making each day an adventure

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Each adoptive family will complete an application, come out to meet the available dog(s) and then email us after the meeting to let us know their intentions to pursue the adoption. We will do a home visit, check their references and then decide on the best home for each dog. Once a home is chosen, the family will sign our adoption contract and pay the $450 adoption fee prior to taking their new family member home with them!

More about this rescue

SPIN strives to educate and raise public awareness about how to be responsible for and share your life with a companion animal. We talk about the importance of spay/neuter programs, the deplorable conditions found in puppy mills and advocate for change. We are most proud, however, of our work in engaging like-minded people together by providing a forum to discuss how to care for and celebrate the poodle breed, but also to come together when necessary to help poodles in need.
