Meet Sophie. Sophie is an 8 and half year old cocker spaniel that came to us as a retired breeder dog. Sophie loves people and attention. She is about 20 lbs. Sophie gets along very well with other small dogs as long as she can be the boss. Sophie does not seem to like big dogs. She could go to a home as an only dog as well because she loves to be with people and get cuddles. She does well around children. Sophie is going to need some work on housebreaking. She is scheduled to get spayed and have a dental cleaning on July 17, 2024 and will be ready for a forever home. She does bark sometimes when she is lonely so she may not make a good apartment dog. Sophie would love to have a comfortable retirement home with lots of love. Her adoption fee is $250.00. Our adopters do need to complete an adoption application. Most adoption fees range from $250 up to $500. Depending on the age breed and health of the animal. Our average adoption fee is $350.00. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm/lyme tested if over 6 months old, microchipped and also have dentals if required for their health.

All of our dogs, puppies, cats and kittens are in foster homes. Because all of our adoptable pets are in private homes, we only schedule appointments with an approved application.
