My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Chief, our one-year-old boy of pure, doofus joy! This sweetheart has the charm of a goofy cartoon character and the heart of a cuddly teddy bear. With paws the size of dinner plates, watching Chief run is like witnessing a live-action comedy show – prepare to laugh until your sides hurt!
Chief has absolutely no idea how big he is. If you have a lap, he's going to sit in it, no questions asked! Get ready for a smothering of sloppy kisses, because Chief is the master of cuddles. Once he's done snuggling, he'll goofily gallop off to play, his big paws flopping every which way. Chasing balls? Check. Turning his head cutely at squeaker toys? Double check. Greeting everyone he meets with full-body butt wiggles? Triple check!
This water-loving, treat-aficionado came to us from a hoarding situation, along with his sisters Wilma and Piper. At first, Chief was nervous about new people and the leash. Leaving his kennel was a big deal. But once his enormous paws hit the grass, his heart opened up, and out popped the biggest goofball you’ve ever seen!
Chief is ready to bring endless laughter, love, and antics to his forever home. He’d do great with other dogs and would thrive in a family with older children – just be prepared for a bull in a china shop! If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh every day and fill your life with affection and goofy fun, Chief is your guy.

More about this shelter

Euclid Pet Pals is the volunteer organization whose members care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, in Euclid, Ohio. We raise funds by offering personal and business memberships and cage sponsorships. Other fundraisers include a Bark-B-Q in May, a Clam Jam in October, and car washes in July. The money we raise is used to pay for veterinary care and medications, necessary supplies, and spay/neuters. We are dedicated to providing a healthy, loving environment for animals waiting to be adopted.
