Meet Kate
Kate is an adorable Chi and Wirehaired Terrier mix who is approximately 3 years old and weighs 7 pounds. She came to us by way of a private rescuer in south Texas near the border of Mexico. She was surrendered with her brother after the family could no longer care for them.
Kate is a sweet and gentle girl that gets along with the other dogs in her playgroup. She will do great in any home with children and other dogs.
Kate is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Gettysburg, PA on August 10th. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.

Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate)
All age-appropriate vaccines
Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
Spay/neuter surgery

Kate tested positive for Chagas disease and has started her treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
