My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Ava, and I'm am a very sweet pup with a big heart who loves people. I'm going to make a very loyal and loving companion for some lucky person or family. I really like playing with toys -- the squeakier the better! I also love chasing balls, but I really need a partner to throw them to me! And I am at a really good age -- way past the puppy stage but still young enough to enjoy outdoor activities with my new friend. I would make an excellent active time partner! And if you're up for a morning walk or run, I would be right there with you. I can't think of a better way to start the day! It has been reported that I have excellent house manners and can be left alone for several hours without any problems. I already know the cue for sit and because I am so treat motivated, there is no end to what I can learn. I am a very affectionate dog who likes to learn in for pets and scratches. I would make a great couch buddy! I've also shown positive interest in other dogs and may enjoy a canine friend. I would do well in a family who keeps me involved in their daily lives. I am really looking forward to meeting you!

Thanks to a generous donor, my adoption fees have been paid! Learn more about our Adopt It Forward program!
